TONERI IKI IKI PARK – Where the Giant Red Ogre Roams | Adachi, Tokyo

スポンサーリンク

Welcome to TOKYO FREE PARKS! Today, we’re introducing the vibrant TONERI IKI IKI Park in Adachi Ward, Tokyo, which is incredibly Instagenic. This park is themed around Japanese folklore, with its most striking feature upon entry being a large red ogre, whose mouth doubles as a slide.

The red ogre’s arms are muscular and robust!

To use the slide, enter through the opening on the back of the red ogre!

Additionally, there are playful attractions inspired by the story of the raccoon dog and rabbit from ‘The Kachikachi Mountain’, as well as sea creatures reminiscent of Urashima Taro’s tale.

Next to the red ogre, you’ll find an athletic playground inspired by the island where the red ogre lives. This equipment is also popular among children.
