SAKURA-ZAKA PARK – Calling All Robot Enthusiasts!, Roppongi, Tokyo

スポンサーリンク

Welcome to TOKYO FREE PARKS. Today, we’re introducing SAKURA-ZAKA PARK that suddenly appears like a toy box amidst the bustling streets of Roppongi. The park’s unique theme? Robots!

Affectionately known as the “RoboRobo Park,” as you approach the entrance, you’ll be greeted by a tower made up of 44 robots.

Situated at the southern tip of Roppongi Hills, this petite park boasts a remarkable artistic direction and play equipment created by the internationally acclaimed Korean contemporary artist, Choi Jeong Hwa.

The park’s symbolic robots draw inspiration from tin toys we played with in our childhood, also carrying a message that aims to bring joy to the adults who were once kids themselves.

Colorful and Exciting Slides!

Ten vibrant slides, arranged like a set of colorful pencils, add a lively touch to the park. With their soft landing surfaces, even the littlest children can play without any safety concerns. The park’s overall design incorporates cushioned materials, including the slide bottoms, ensuring that minor falls won’t pose any problems.

Thrills with a Roller Slide!

The park is situated on a small hill, and the roller slide, taking advantage of the elevation, provide the most exhilarating moments for children.
