Welcome to the TOKYO FREE PARKS website! In this edition, we introduce HEIWA NO MORI PARK, a must-visit destination for those visiting Japan and seeking a jogging paradise during your stay!
Note: While there is another park with the same name in Ota Ward in Tokyo, please be aware that this introduction is for Heiwa No Mori Park located in Nakano Ward.
300m Track
Inside the park, there is a 300m track and a straight 100m running path, providing opportunities for long-distance jogging and short-distance sprinting. Inside the track area, you’ll find a vast 11,600 square meters of open field, perfect for activities like insect collecting, tag games for children.
Playground with Slides and Equipment
The park features a variety of playground equipment for kids designed to enhance their physical abilities. From a giant slide to a climbing wall and athletic play equipment made from felled timber, there’s something for children to enjoy.
In the back of the park, there’s a dedicated play area with slides and a sandbox suitable for younger children. This section is enclosed with fences, providing a secure space for children to play. Tables and benches are available inside the play area, creating a restful space for parents and children to relax and interact.
Water Plaza
The park includes ponds and streams, creating a serene waterside atmosphere that harmonizes with the lush greenery. It’s a tranquil and refreshing space for visitors to unwind and connect with nature.
